Over the three days students will complete fire training to Fire Marshal level, to provide a good grounding in the subject matter.
In addition students will receive training and advice in delivering fire courses. Students will also deliver a minimum of one practical and one theory session each during the course. This will be assessed, and feedback given to the potential instructor, by a senior member of our Training Team.
Upon successful completion students will be qualified to train their staff in the following subjects:
- Causes of workplace fires
- The fire triangle
- Action in the event of fire
- Fire fighting
- Fire extinguishers
- Practical fire extinguishing
- The fire action plan
- The role and duties of the Fire Marshal
- An overview of fire risk assessment
- An overview of fire warning system
Due to the nature of the course it is recommended, but not essential, that students attending have:
