There is a large market and demand for the City and Guilds level 2 national qualification in conflict management (1884). This qualification is focused on the knowledge and skills required to reduce conflict and risk in the workplace.
High demands on trainers
Effective conflict management training requires a sound understanding of conflict management, so potential trainers must acquire a good appreciation of the problems faced by staff.
This can vary between sectors and roles within sectors. This is why sectors and employers prefer, and often require, a practical scenario based approach that ensures training is realistic and relevant. This approach requires skilled facilitation.
